My name is Katherine Armon (Kate) and I am forty years old. Mum to Charlotte who is nine and Rosie who is five. I moved to Australia's Gold Coast with my family a year ago. We feel very privileged to live in such a beautiful country and love the gorgeous hot weather and abundance of wonderful and interesting things to do! I originally trained as an actress at a London theatre school but when I moved to NZ ten years ago and became a Mother I moved into freelance writing for magazines and newspapers. This allowed me to stay home with my lovely girls and home school them, of which I love every second. Becoming a celebrant has fulfilled a life long ambition of mine. I absolutely love people young or old and I really enjoy helping people to create ceremonies that are just right for them or their loved ones. I am caring and professional, I pride myself on being empathetic towards people's needs and requirements. Whether you are planning a celebration of love or mourning the loss of a loved one, it's my job to offer you the support and advice you need and I take that role very seriously. Choosing a celebrant is such a personal thing and should not be rushed into. You must find someone you really click with, there must be chemistry!
