In a world where we are constantly plugged into electronic devices and confined to the concrete jungles of big cities, we know that it can be hard to remain connected to the natural world.
This is despite growing research that tells us that nature is vitally important to our wellbeing and has healing, soothing and restorative proprieties.
Hello Adventure recognises this, and as such specialises in supporting people to reconnect with nature to promote better mental health and start to address the issues they face in their lives.
Hello Adventure does this by offering nature-based counselling/life coaching tailored to the clients’ unique needs and interest. During these sessions, clients are supported to overcome barriers and reach their goals through engagement in the outdoors. This therapeutic technique is backed by evidence that shows increased mental health outcomes in people who experience anxiety, depression and PTSD.
Additionally, Hello Adventure also offers 1:1 NDIS individual nature walks. These walks have been designed to address the various barriers people with disabilities experience when trying to access outdoor activities.
All NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed will have the opportunity to use their core funding allocated to social and community participation to attend one of our many available experiences. This will mean that their only out-of-pocket expense will be lunch and entry (if applicable).
Finally, we offer monthly group activities that allow our Hello Adventure family to socialize, get to know each other and access the outdoors together. We offer this, as a we know how important it is for our clients to connect with like-minded people who may be experiencing similar issues to them during their recovery journey.
What are you waiting for, start building a better life and let us help you re-discover adventure.
